Our Story
Joyous Expressions began with a hopeful smile. The dream that we could work from home, have a community who shares the passion and creativity that sparks self expression. Each one of us has been looking for others that inspire and ignite the “hands on” experience.
We share a common spirit of unity, responsibility and accountability to our planet, our community and our children. As a gathering group of DIY enthusiasts that seek to foster a peer education network, we invite you to participate in the movement. Help us support local artists in Eugene/Springfield, Central Oregon and beyond!

Joyous Expressions is the dream of Joy Yumi, who is also our resident Priestess, Meia Starchild, as a place to strengthen the mind and empower work flow. Imagine a gym that offers machines and personal training to build confidence in working for yourself.
If you are an entrepreneur, working remotely or seeking a co-working space you can afford, we welcome you to manifest with us. This is a call to action!
Art Collective
Eco-workspace with inventive methods for minimizing over head cost. Art in all forms, whether it’s building inventory, having a place to store stuff for market or putting on events, our goal is to advocate productivity.

Childcare
Joyous Expressions is excited to pair up with Sunny Hollow! They offer a nature-based curriculum and co-op education.
Affordable, secure and structured care for youth, so YOU can create, innovate and check off your task list. At Sunny Hollow, your child will have the opportunity to learn, explore and create their own masterpieces with our structured curriculum program.
During the beginning stages of this project, the location and availability of childcare services will be determined by the program’s ability to host events in a safe, child-friendly space.
Please join us on our journey as we work to open up Joyous Expressions and Sunny Hollow at a permanent location. We will be hosting events and fundraising throughout this next year to make your dreams— a reality!
